xThe adidas Adizero Boston 13 features a new lightweight mesh upper with enhanced padding on the tongue and collar, giving you the comfort you would expect from a daily trainer, despite the feeling of race day speed. Talking of speed, adidas have taken the same sandwich of Lightstrike foam near the floor, ENERGYRODS in the middle and Lightstrike Pro at the top, but they have increased the amount of Lightstrike Pro by 13.8%. What this means is, you get a ride with a firmer foam at the base, efficient and snappy feeling ENERGYRODS guiding your stride, and more of the lighter, softer and more responsive Pro foam right under your foot. In the outsole adidas have introduced targeted Lightraction rubber, first seen in their race models, if offers excellent traction with less weight. Paired with their excellent Continental rubber you get weight savings without sacrificing durability.
